Water Bottle

Our tried and true water bottle that has been sold in our Start-R-Kit is now available for separate purchase! Many years ago, we set out to put together the best start up kit in the industry for these animals and we did so with pain-staking research and many trials for each individual product. This water bottle is the perfect size, ball weight and quality for long term use with sugar gliders. WHY is having the appropriate water bottle important?

*Proportion - water bottles that are too large can create too much suction in the bottle, making it difficult to drink out of. It can also be discouraging against the frequent cleaning we recommend and have a tendency to introduce mold and bacteria to your babies

*Ball size/weight- in animals this small, grams matter. The ball mechanism is very simple, it is pushed up to allow the flow of water - but the ball must not be too large or too heavy or it can prevent the animals from drinking enough or at all.

*Safe - All materials are non toxic and BPA free!

Pro Tip: If you want to monitor your sugar gliders water intake,use a dry erase marker to mark the water level each day (Water intake will vary with many things, but we get this question frequently) This can be helpful in alerting you to a problem with your animal or the water bottle itself.
